Growing up as a
little girl in Brooklyn, I got my style from my
Aunt
Francisca. She was young and
fashionable.
She and her girlfriends
would always have on
the latest and hottest fashions, and I copied her style.
At
Fourteen, I started reading Vogue, Elle magazine, and
Harpers
Bazaar,
so I could keep up with the latest fashion trends.
As a
young woman, I was a stylist for the
Fugees, “killing me
softly” music video. I was an assistant to
the Casting Director, but I brought my own clothes
to the
video shoot just in case I got a chance at my video debut. My
clothes made it in the video, but I
didn’t.
Fashion
is in my blood. I’ve worked for Macy’s, Polo Ralph
Lauren,
and Tommy
Hilfiger to name a few. My
first makeover was in
college, to my friend Adria. I transformed her into a
fashionista at one
of my Sorority’s
annual event.
Jiselle Lia is a
family business.
The
business name is my nine year old daughters name, and my sister,
Nicole came
up with the idea to
sell clothing and jewelry at our first event. We are a
lifestyle line the enhances the
lives of the people

without the high price.
